When a bearing has been cut and a shaft has been destroyed, it can be a good idea to turn the shaft on site and install a bushing instead of dismantling an entire production line to send the shaft away for repair in a workshop. Doing the work on site saves both time and important production time. We have machines that can be mounted at the end of the shaft or somewhere in the middle of the shaft, it all depends on what your damage looks like and where it is located. If the shaft has a keyway that needs to be renovated, we also have a mobile keyway cutter that can save you.
We have shaft turning machines with a slim design for tight spaces. Easy mounting on the shaft by fixing the machine to the end of the shaft. Working range of Ø40-610 mm. To restore keyways, we use keyway cutters that are also easily mounted on the shaft.
