RAD originally designed SDM (Small Diameter Multiplier) gearboxes for the aerospace industry, where access for tooling is limited and quality and precision requirements are high. Thanks to the compact design, SDM gearboxes offer a solution for applications where access to the bolt is limited and high torque is required.
