EFCO SM – stationary grinders
The SM series are stationary machines for grinding and lapping sealing surfaces in wedge gate valves, wedge gate valves, globe valves, safety valves, control valves, etc.

The SM series are stationary machines for grinding and lapping of sealing surfaces in wedge gate valves, wedge gate valves, globe valves, safety valves, control valves, etc. The machines are characterized by their stability and robustness, their compact design with modular system and their ability to take large loads on the table.
A second table can easily be retrofitted to increase efficiency. The machine can also be used with GSS grinding wheels to further increase efficiency.
The two machines together cover a working range of DN8-700.
The SM-550 can be equipped with tilt table and/or round feed table one or two pieces, depending on what you need.
The SM-550 is also particularly suitable for grinding safety valves as by rotating the round feed table in the opposite direction to the grinding spindle and overlapping the rotating movements, you create an optimal sealing surface for safety valves.
The SM-750 is available either in centric or eccentric version with one or two tilt tables.
The SM-750 equipped with an eccentrically adjustable spindle, allows grinding of safety valves. The eccentric and grinding movements are driven separately.
Both machines have pivoting machine columns and operator panels, which makes work more efficient.

SM-750
