The SL machines are a range of easy-to-use and unbeatable mobile grinding machines. With the EFCO SL you can perform grinding work on-site or in the workshop on wedge gate valves, wedge slides or check valves. The machines are very stable and robust, which means that grinding can be carried out at high pressure in combination with coarse abrasives, which reduces the grinding time considerably.
Working range DN20-2000 (3/4"-8") depending on choice of machine.
SL machines are available with electric or pneumatic motor.
There are also plenty of accessories for SL machines;
- Mechanically driven grinding head SLA, for high removal rates in hard materials (≥ 35HRC). The SLA head is available for the SL-15 and SL-2.
- Digital rocker, enables precise reproduction of a once set system pressure.
- Swing-check adapter, used when grinding the sealing surfaces in a valve body where the sealing surfaces have a very high inclination.
- VB Device, is a machine arm to be able to use the SL machine when grinding flat sealing surfaces in globe valves.
- Lip equipment, with cast iron disks and lip paste to be able to achieve superfininsh on the sealing surface.
