The EFCO HSL is a complete portable machine for grinding wedge gate valves and wedge gates with hard seats (≥ 35HRC).
The grinding machine is made of high quality materials, easy to use and has low tool wear.
Equipped with planetary wheels from the SLA series for applications with driven CBN coated grinding wheels (EFCO GSS). The HSL machine has an extreme stock removal rate and reduces grinding time considerably, on a valve seat Ø350 mm in Stellite 5 material 2 mm was removed per hour!
The grinding wheels rotate at a ratio of 1:200, which gives a speed of the grinding wheels between 18-21 m/s!
There are two models that together cover the working range DN 125-600.
The machine can also be used as a standard SL-15 or SL-2 grinder, if you choose to add friction-driven grinding disks.
