Climax BB4500 mobile arborist

The Climax BB4500 is a more compact and affordable version of the best-selling BB5000, with flexible mounting for working in tight spaces.
With many different options, this machine is a very affordable option.

In general, the BB4500 and BB5000 are the same machine, what differs is the dimension of the boring bar and the spherical bearings with associated bearing holders, otherwise the rotation unit, feed unit and motor are of the same model.

Quick and easy assembly using the high-quality cast iron mounting cones, the spherical bearings facilitate alignment and the bearing holders are equipped with fine adjustment function.

The machine is powerful, more than 135 Nm on the boring bar.
The specially designed rotation unit provides a 4:1 gear ratio for increased torque at all rotation speeds.

The rotation unit needs to be mounted next to a bearing holder, otherwise there is free placement along the drill rod, the feed unit can be placed freely along the drill rod and does not need to be adjacent to the rotation unit, thanks to its smart design.

Automatic feeding in both directions and infinitely adjustable.

The machine is supplied with either electric, hydraulic or pneumatic motor, the electric motor is reversible.

The boring bars are available in several different lengths and the most common is from 1219 - 3048 mm.
They have full-length keyways for transmission of the rotation and are equipped with 12 mm square holes for mounting inserts. The 44.45 mm diameter boring bars are chromated and straightened.

There are many accessories such as small-bore kits, radial machining heads, lathe heads with fine-tuning function, measuring tools and automated welding equipment.
