The Climax BB3000 has an optimal power-to-weight ratio that ensures superior speed and performance. With a compact design and mounting brackets, the machine adapts to a variety of configurations to maximize versatility.
The machine is equipped with spherical bearings with fine adjustment possibility which facilitates assembly.
BB3000 processes holes from 38.1 - 127.0 mm diameter.
Boring bars are available in different lengths and the most common is hole spacing with c/c 254.0 mm.
The 2-speed motor delivers 52-185 rpm on the boring bar, unloaded. The motor has a power of 0.74 kW and via the 7.5:1 combined rotation and feed unit it delivers 122 Nm on the boring bar.
Automatic feeding can be done in both directions, max stroke 254.0 mm. The feed rate is steplessly adjustable between 0 - 0.46 mm/rev.
There are accessories such as radial machining heads and automated welding equipment.
With an extra bearing, machining can be done on one hole and welding on another.
