Cookies
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies can be compared to small footprints. A special file, called a cookie file, is saved on your computer when you access a particular website. The cookie file consists of a small amount of data containing information about what you do when you visit the site. The information about your previous visits is sent by the web server to your browser and can then be retrieved from there.
ARE COOKIES DANGEROUS?
No, cookies are not dangerous. Cookie files are ordinary text files and cannot contain viruses. The files are small and Chrome and Explorer, for example, only allow a certain amount of cookies to be stored in memory. So there is no risk of the memory becoming full just because you allow cookies.
CAN I SAY NO TO COOKIES?
Yes, you can disable the use of cookies at any time in your browser settings.
COOKIES WITH US
We use cookies to understand how visitors use the website from a sales and marketing perspective, for example through the web analytics tool Google Analytics. This helps us analyse the number of visitors and gives us a picture of how visitors use the website in order to improve content, navigation and structure. In some cases, we also use cookies to remember settings made by the user, to enable login, to provide interest-based marketing messages such as banners and to analyse the performance of our services. The analytics tool uses JavaScript and cookies and that information about your usage is anonymized.
